I think there’s a level of ignorance in today’s youth everywhere about other Countries and Cultures.. it’s not just in the UK. Not the majority, but a lot of them take what they see on social media at face value, rather than taking the time to find out the truth for themselves. The view youngers have about Americans not knowing Geography and all shooting each other up is just ignorance, believing stereotypes. We celebrate what we have in common not our differences, true equality and it works just fine in our city of 2 million. On shootings and perceptions. On the other side of that coin you gave examples of other violent dysfunctioning societies and I don't know how that equates to normal. It's very sad to watch the mighty America turn so brutally upon itself.
